Central Coast residents can register for prize sponsored by Pacific Coast Home & Garden, Mari Landscaping and Idler's Appliances/Outdoor Living until Saturday, June 30
SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA—DreamSpacesOnline.com, the premier central coast home resource Web site, has so far attracted more than 1,100 unique entries to its $35,000 Outdoor Makeover contest. Sponsored by Pacific Coast Home & Garden, Mari Landscaping and Idler’s Outdoor Living, the contest is open to San Luis Obispo County residents and deadline for entry is Saturday, June 30, 2007. Contestants can sign up at DreamSpacesOnline.com/contest.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for any homeowner looking for a change in their existing landscaping,” says Glenys Archer, Dream Spaces executive vice president. “Our sponsors are the very best professionals on the Central Coast and the odds of winning are pretty darn good, but residents have to sign up before the end of the month.”
One lucky homeowner will win a remodel of an existing landscape. Whether the winner prefers a formal garden, a Zen Minimalist Retreat or a wildlife friendly California native showcase, he or she will be able to choose an individual style of backyard living.
Pacific Coast Home and Garden, a showcase nursery and indoor/outdoor living retailer in San Luis Obispo, will provide plants, foliage and stone for the makeover. The largest local appliance store, Idler’s Appliances/Outdoor Living, offers the winning contestant barbecue and spa equipment. And Mari Landscaping, owned by Landscape Architect David Brown, will draw up the plans for the finished backyard. Brown recently finished the new landscaping for the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim.
The Dream Spaces Web site features local home design resources, informational design articles, a community blog and much more for readers to enjoy. For further details on the makeover contest and Dream Spaces Home Design Sourcebook, visit
