Matt Clark began working with tile and stone in Malibu, Calif., in 1977, closely following with an apprenticeship under Armand Agresti in New York in 1982. In 1988, he worked in Portland, Ore., with Ann Sacks at her original showroom. The 1990s saw Matt working in New York with David Garbo and Jed Johnson.
In 2002, Matt Clark and Katie Franklin opened their tile design studio in San Luis Obispo, Calif., featuring the County Floors Collection. Their talented staff works closely with their clients to create deeply satisfying tile and stone designs.
