You spy the perfect rain showerhead in a magazine. But who makes it? Where can you buy it? Brian Metcalf of Pacific Coast Kitchen & Bath has the answer.
“We’re good at tracking down exclusive or unusual products,” he says. “We can help people locate things they’ve seen that are hard to find. So even though we have an extensive inventory and can get things to people quickly, we also do a lot of special ordering.” That kind of personal customer service is a hallmark of Pacific Coast Kitchen & Bath. Sales associates are extremely knowledgeable, willing to help, and their friendly attitude helps make the showroom a warm, welcoming space.
Some of the distinctive items on display include glass sinks by Robert Jones Glass: spirals of amethyst and gold, tortoise shell patterns, vessels that resemble flowing liquid metal, and luminous colored glass basins. Hand hammered copper sinks from Native Trails radiate a warm glow. And the simple imagery of water running over a waterfall or rising from an ancient spring inspired the high-performance yet organic style of KWC’s Murano faucet.
One of Metcalf’s recent favorites is the Toto air bathtub—instead of jets that combine water and air, this version has 90 small holes that blow warm air up through the water. “You get millions of tiny bubbles, like champagne,” he says. “The result is a fine effervescence that’s both soothing and refreshing.”
Keeping up to date on design trends is a team effort at Pacific Coast Kitchen & Bath. The entire sales team accompanies Metcalf to industry trade shows so that everyone on the sales floor can provide sound advice and information to customers. Whether bringing in house plans for a one-on-one consultation or simply buying a beautiful piece of hardware, customers are assured of getting exceptional service.
